In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

As you know, Al-Murabitoon has collected donations for the Masjid Markaz Zaid Ibn Thabit to feed a whole village (300-400 people including the poor and orphans) for Ramadan in Tanzania. This is a small village called Soya north of the capital Dodoma. However a new issue has come to our attention, our village needs water.

The only water supply is collected from a far distant village by donkeys for the Masjid to use for Wudu purposes. However, due to the need of the local people to drink clean water, they have been using this water for domestic purposes. The nearest water well is miles away from the village. So it is of utmost importance that we build for them a well in their own village so they may enjoy the Bounty of Allah (swt) that we take for granted.

As the land in Dodoma is barren and dry, the engineers have informed us that must be dug very deep to get to the water source. This requires not only effort but machinery, which is costly to rent and transport to our remote village. They have quoted us £3K to complete.

So rush towards goodness and towards the best form of charity, giving others water to drink. Are you not an Ummah that loves for your brothers what you love for yourself? Are you not allies and protectors of one another?

Even a single penny will make a difference.

Whatever you spend for the sake of Allah, will not be lost and Allah will increase you with more!
