Update regarding the well of Halima located in the village of soya beside Markaz Zaid Ibn Thabit.

At the start of the process, we struggled to get Aqua (Bore drilling company) to our village due to the remoteness and the demand for wells in the local district.

We were given dates after dates and time and time again Aqua let us down and did not attend. Our brother Abu Yasir may; Allah preserve him, went to the Aqua office to get them and slept outside the office for several days to ensure that Aqua hastens in digging our well.

Alhamdulilah once they arrived all the locals were excited and took time off to witness the first well being dug in their village. By the end of the first day we managed to drill 50m; but did not locate any water, unfortunately. On the second day, we managed to bore drill 59m and Alhamdulillah we have now found the water.

The locals are ecstatic and are already queuing up. This water will be used for the masjid, and locals and to grow vegetables at the masjid’s perimeter.
